Swartzentruber`s Bakery in Abbeville

I've been wanting to stop there every time I go to Clemson. Finally did it today. Bought a bunch of different items, all delicious!

Amazing pies and breads. Can't wait to try the butter.

You can tell the products are homemade and not cranked out assembly line style. Sooo good and authentic flavors. The cheese straws and pimento cheese were outstanding.

The peanut brittle is fantastic. The banana bread is great. Haven't gotten to the rest of my purchases but I'm sure the are just as good. Well be going back as soon as I can.

Wonderful aroma as you open the door!

We stopped in for a breakfast item on our way to camp in Augusta and it was hard to choose. We left with a pecan cinnamon pull-apart and two slices of cake, individually wrapped. Everything was delicious. The prices are generally higher than a grocery, but the quality is first-rate. There are a variety of pies and cakes, but other items such as snacks, candy and pickles are also available. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area when they are open. I'd like to try one of the pies. Drive around to the back of the house; the bakery entrance is well-marked.

I went here and got my free puff pastry, and it was delicious! Every week they pick a different name on their FB page, and you get a free puff with a valid ID.

The bakery has a large variety of cakes, rolls, and pies to add that special touch to any occasion. They may be a little more than store bought baked goods but it is worth it in the long run.

Best bread and pies

Clean, friendly, lots of cakes, breads, pastries, candy and preserves to choose from. A little pricey but they use real ingredients. They also provided free coffee. There is no inside seating. It's a store only. We will return for their cinnibuns. Good stuff.

They always have no problem helping the community. The daddy daughter dance was no exception they came through with a beautiful sheet cake everyone enjoyed! Again thank you so much for all that you do!

I've being going to this bakery for 25 years and this was the worst experience ever. I was picking up a slice of cake then I changed my mind and picked up a different flavor. The lady approached me and said she doesn't want me touching everything. I was polite and paid anyway and my card was thrown back on the counter. I will not repeat business with them anymore!!!!

LOVE this bakery!! Delish treats abound!! Our favorites are the breads and buttery dinner rolls. Loretta Swartzentruber always has a smile and plenty of samples.
